In 2012 we are excited to announce changes to Fornire, both in the products we sell and the direction we are heading. Having dealt in home interiors and giftware for a number of years I started to become a little tired of the mass produced products out there which offer very little with regards to quality, inspiration or soul. Therefore I have decided to take the company in a whole new direction.

For the past 6 months I have been searching the country for products which offer a little more than space filling value. Pieces which have soul, offer something different and have a story instilled in them by the artist, designer or artisan that created them.

Being honest, I wasn’t exactly sure what I would find, but I have to say I was extremely impressed and my eyes were certainly opened. After seeing the quality of these products, and the work that has been invested into developing and perfecting them over the years, I now feel it a sin that they are hidden beneath mainstream, mass produced products that are readily available on the high street.

For this reason I have now decided to dedicate my time and the direction of Fornire into sourcing these individuals and companies which place their passion into their products and provide a platform for them to shine.
